Welded Pipe
Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) Pipe
ERW pipe is produced by cold-forming steel sheets into a cylindrical shape. High-frequency electric current is passed between the edges to heat the metal, which is then pressed together to create a solid longitudinal bond. This process forms a high-strength joint without the need for external welding filler material.
Standard Specifications & Grades
We maintain a full inventory of ERW pipe meeting the following standards:
ASTM A500: Grades B, C, and 1085 (Structural)
ASTM/ASME A53 & SA53: Grades A and B
API 5L: Grades B, X42, and X52 (Line Pipe)
Size Range: 0.405″ to 48″ OD Wall Thickness: 0.068″ to 1.5″
